Welcome to ToyPitStop Disney Planes and Cars fans! Today i will show you Gunnar Viking from the Mattel diecast collection. Gunnar is a scandinavian racer also known as Nordic. Him and swedish Racer Flash from Cars 2 share almost the same design.

International flying superstars compete in the exciting Wings Around the Globe Rally. Scandinavian racer Gunnar Viking started out as an air ambulance. When a sports reporter noticed his speedy flying times, he traded his sirens for racing stripes.

Planes is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by DisneyToon Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a spin-off of the Disney Pixar Cars franchise and the first film in the Planes trilogy.

Like many Disney Toons films, it was initially set to be released as a direct-to-video film, but will now be theatrically released on August 9, 2013 in the Disney Digital 3D and RealD 3D formats. A sequel, titled Planes: Fire & Rescue, will follow in 2014.
